I’m a big fan of independently-produced city guides. They’re a great way of familiarising yourself with a place you haven’t yet visited and are also a means of breathing new life into a city that you’ve long become familiar with.
Cereal, the magazine-slash-journal, produced two such guides in 2015 – simply titled ‘London’ and ‘New York’. Each one details the places to go, things to see and even include essays from notable residents of each city.
If you’re thinking of visiting either, the guides are an invaluable tool to help you make the most of your trip, but even if you have no intention of ever setting foot in the Big Apple, the Cereal guides are a beautiful collection of imagery, helping to bring the city to life, even in the comfort of your own home. Browsing through the gallery shows just how spectacular their imagery is.
This month, Cereal adds another city to their City Guide series – Paris. As always, it is filled with exclusive imagery, specially curated by the Cereal team.
